Biology:

I am gone today and you have a sub. If you were gone too, this is what you need to do to catch up:

- Answer practice questions on pg. 8 in your notes packet: 1-4, 6, 9-27, 29-31, 36-45, and 47-49. Then rip these questions out of your notes packet, re-staple it, write your name on it, and turn it in.

- Make sure you have your study guide completed before the test on Tuesday (tomorrow).


Honors Biology: same as above, with the addition of practice problem #32.


Natural Resources:

Today was your last poster work day. Remember to follow the rubric religiously as you put together all the components of your poster. The final deadline for your poster is 11:59 PM on Wednesday, 10/8. If you turn it in by this deadline, I will grade it, give you feedback, and allow you to resubmit any components that were complete before you turned it in. If you turn it in after this deadline, you forfeit the ability to resubmit, and you will lose points every day it is late.

Wednesday/Thursday, 9/3 - 9/4

  Biology: - I passed out the study guide for the Unit 1 Test (Friday, 9/12). If you were gone, here is what I explained: This study guide is your ticket for being able to retake the test. If you turn in a completed study guide on the day of the test BEFORE you take your test, then you are eligible for a retake if needed. If you don't turn in a study guide, you won't be penalized - it just means you won't be able to retake the test.  You can choose to complete your study guide however you'd like. If you choose to do it on paper, then I recommend using additional notebook paper to give yourself enough room to answer all the questions thoroughly. I will have a key available for you next week. When you are finished with your study guide, you can check it with my key. Friday, 8/22/25

 Biology: - We finished all the notes up to pg. 3 in the notes packet. Check the class notebook to make sure you get all the information in that table on pg. 3. - If you were gone today, I want you to answer questions 1-2 in your notes packet on the top of pg. 4. We did a sorting activity in class to have a deeper discussion about the purposes of the Bible and science, but I won't have you make that up - just answer questions 1-2 and you're good.  - Some classes might get to the point where we take notes on pg. 4 - check your class notebook to see how far your class got, and catch up to that point.  Biology: - I checked off your desktop apps on your laptops. If you were gone, you need to see me in office hours and show me the desktop apps on your laptop. It will go in the gradebook as "M" (missing) until you show me. - We took the unit 1 quiz. If you were gone, you need to schedule a time with me next week at lunch or after school to take this. It needs to be done before the test on Friday. - I passed out the Daphnia Experimentation lab packet and we took notes on it to prepare for a lab that we are starting on Monday.
