 Biology:

- I passed out the study guide for the Unit 1 Test (Friday, 9/12). If you were gone, here is what I explained:

  • This study guide is your ticket for being able to retake the test. If you turn in a completed study guide on the day of the test BEFORE you take your test, then you are eligible for a retake if needed. If you don't turn in a study guide, you won't be penalized - it just means you won't be able to retake the test.
  • You can choose to complete your study guide however you'd like. If you choose to do it on paper, then I recommend using additional notebook paper to give yourself enough room to answer all the questions thoroughly.
  • I will have a key available for you next week. When you are finished with your study guide, you can check it with my key. This must be done in class or during office hours because I don't ever post the key.
- We did a microscope lab to familiarize yourself with a microscope so we can use it for an experiment next week. If you were gone, you need to come in during lunch or office hours to make this up! There is no way you can make it up without coming to see me.

- Once we finished the microscope lab, we did some more practice identifying variables within an experiment. If you were gone, just make sure you are prepared for the quiz on Friday. You can expect at least one problem like the ones on pg. 8.

Honors Biology: see above.

Natural Resources:

- We took a field trip to Settler's Pond and learned how to collect water quality data. If you were gone, there is nothing you can do to make this up - just check the class notebook on Friday so you can copy down the data once we've compiled it.
